A useful tenor-size Guitar-Ukulele lets any guitarist add depth to the mix with some ukulele tones. Strings are tuned "A" to "A" in standard guitar intervals, making for an easy jump to the uke for the casual guitarist. Features a solid quartersawn mahogany top, laminated mahogany back and sides, one-piece mahogany neck with bone nut, 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with "snowflake" position markers, 17" scale length, rosewood bridge with bone saddle, Grover Sta-Tite tuners. This is a straight acoustic instrument.
This uke came from MIRC in Franklin, TN. The serial number has been marked out. Somebody, I'm guessing a new employee that didn't quite understand how the refurbishing process worked, has sanded the Gretsch logo off of the headstock. This is The main cosmetic issue. It has also been stamped "used" on the back of the headstock. This does not effect stability or playability.
This ukulele has been set up in our shop, Action is on the low side of medium. Every player is different and some may want to change the setup to reflect their own playing style. When buying any Ukulele online, it is always wise to factor in the cost of having the instrument set up by a local tech to meet your own preferences.
This instrument has never been owned by a consumer. There is no fret wear, sweat stains, or weird smell to worry about. It has traveled from the factory that manufactured it to the company that ordered it to MIRC to our shop. The customer who buys it from us will be the first consumer to own it.
