A useful concert-size Ukulele with lively tone.  Features include:

  • 15” scale length
  • mahogany top, back and sides
  • mahogany neck with ovangkol fingerboard
  • ovangkol bridge
  • bone nut and saddle
  • open-back geared tuners

This uke came from MIRC in Franklin, TN. The serial number has been marked out.  Somebody, I'm guessing a new employee that didn't quite understand how the refurbishing process worked, has sanded the Gretsch logo off of the headstock (also appeared to have accidently ran the sander into the side and back of the headstock) and marked out the Gretsch logo on the tag in the soundhole.  You can still see the model number and "The Fred Gretsch Mfg. Co." on the tag.  This is The main cosmetic issue.   It has also been stamped "used" on the back of the headstock.  This does not effect stability or playability.

This ukulele has been set up in our shop,  Action is medium.  Every player is different and some may want to change the setup to reflect their own playing style.  When buying any Ukulele online, it is always wise to factor in the cost of having the instrument set up by a local tech to meet your own preferences.

This instrument has never been owned by a consumer. There is no fret wear, sweat stains, or weird smell to worry about.  It has traveled from the factory that manufactured it to the company that ordered it to MIRC to our shop.  The customer who buys it from us will be the first consumer to own it.

Please contact us with any questions about this Uke.
