Built for extended range players looking to push sonic boundaries, this 7-string workhorse offers massive tone, sleek playability, and a no-nonsense aesthetic. The satin black finish and arched top give it a stealthy, modern edge, while the sculpted double-cutaway body ensures easy access to all 24 frets—ideal for heavy riffing and fluid lead work across the full range.

The longer 26.5" scale keeps low tunings tight and articulate, letting those low B (or even lower) notes ring with clarity. A pair of high-output humbuckers dish out aggressive tones with tight bass response and searing highs, perfect for metal, prog, or anything in between. Whether you’re just entering the world of 7-strings or need a reliable backup for the road, this one delivers serious value and serious attitude.

Key Features:

  • Poplar arched top body – Balanced tone with comfortable contours

  • 26.5" scale length – Ideal for low tunings and extended range clarity

  • Bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement – Solid and fast-playing

  • Amaranth fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets – Smooth access across all registers

  • Compound-radius (12"–16") fingerboard – Comfortable for both chords and solos

  • Jackson high-output 7-string humbuckers – Tight, aggressive, and articulate

  • String-through-body hardtail bridge – Rock-solid tuning and sustain

  • Satin Black finish – Sleek, stealthy, and stage-ready

This guitar has been professionally repaired and set up by one of MIRC's top-notch techs. There are no visible cosmetic signs of repair. The guitar does have a new serial number and has been stamped "used" on the headstock.  Once it arrived in our shop, it was tweaked just a bit more. Every player is different and some may want to change the setup to reflect their own playing style.  When buying any guitar online, it is always wise to factor in the cost of having the instrument set up by a local tech to meet your own preferences.

This guitar has never been owned by a consumer. There is no fret wear, sweat stains, or weird smell to worry about.  It has traveled from the factory that manufactured it to the company that ordered it to MIRC, where it was refurbished, to our shop.  The customer who buys it from us will be the first consumer to own it.

The differences between buying a refurbished guitar and a new guitar are the warranty (there is no factory warranty on the guitar--it has the same risks associated with buying a used guitar), the new serial number, and THE PRICE. We feel the benefits of having an expert tech assess, repair, and thoroughly set up the guitar along with the reduced price far overshadow the lack of a factory warranty. Please contact us with any questions about refurbished guitars in general or this guitar specifically.
