Hand-wired in a small shop nestled in the fields of north central Indiana. This is the classic Dallas Rangemaster circuit plus 2 more options for the tone profile. Three settings for boost: treble (the middle position on the switch), treble and mids (the upper position), and full-range boost (the lower position). There is also a volume knob to adjust the level of boost.
If you're looking to add some Stevie-style bite, you've arrived at the place to get it.
How do you use it? The absolute best way to use any booster is to push an already-overdriven amp over the edge. "Crank it and hammer the front end even harder" is the philosophy of many a tone guru that wrings those gut-wrenchingly sweet sounds out of their amp. If you have to play at a lower volume, you can get away with using a clean amp by running the treble booster into an overdrive pedal. It's not the same as pushing an overdriven amp, but it's a cool sound nonetheless.
Pedal is new. All of them come with a distressed finish. The distressing gives every pedal a slightly different look, so your pedal will not look exactly like the pedal in the pics.
